Formed due to redlining in the late 1900's, its' residents have been pushed out of the neighbourhood due to gentrification. Seattle Afrikan Premier League Final
The African diaspora in Seattle has any avenues for building community. One of these ways is through healthy competition and the SAPL offers just that. This year's final was a spirited contest between Seattle Eagles and Seattle Dashen with the former winning after a nerve wracking penalty kick shootout.
